Blaster Bates, famed for his pulverising humour, travels 43,000 miles a year describing some of his explosive experiences.
Tonight he'll be lighting the fuse on a few stories at Bolton's Albert Hall, starting at 7.30p.m. He's billed as one of Britain's best story tellers, alongside such humorists as Mike Harding, Jasper Carrott, Billy Connolly and Max Boyce. His discs, describing some of his real life adventures, have sold more than a quarter of a million copies.
